The IES7310 series Industrial PoE Fiber Converter is built with robust components and a hardened enclosure for reliable operation in electrically noisy and climatically challenging settings, such as factory floors or roadside control cabinets. Housed in a compact, IP40-rated casing, it supports both DIN-rail and wall mounting to optimize cabinet space. Thanks to its rugged IP40 protection and integrated PoE design, it is an ideal choice for service providers, campuses, and public areas to deploy PoE devices—including wireless access points, IP cameras, and IP phones—easily, efficiently, and cost-effectively. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, this converter can be installed in virtually any location.

Modular Design for Flexible Deployment and Expansion

This switch includes one additional mini-GBIC SFP slot that supports dual‑speed 155BASE‑SX/LX fiber optic modules, allowing the administrator to select an appropriate SFP transceiver based on both transmission distance and speed requirements. Transmission can be extended from 550 meters up to 2 kilometers using multi‑mode fiber, and from 20 to 120 kilometers with single‑mode or WDM fiber. These features make the switch well‑suited for enterprise data center and distributed network deployments.

Streamlined Network Deployment
The switch's RJ45 copper ports support 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation for optimal speed selection over Cat 5, Cat 5e, or Cat 6 cables. Featuring standard auto-MDI/MDI-X support, each port automatically detects the connection type to any Ethernet device, eliminating the need for specialized crossover or straight-through cables.

Built-in Surge Defense

This Industrial PoE Fiber Converter complies with the IEC 61643-21:2000 standard. With surge protection rated up to 6KV on its PoE ports, it effectively safeguards connected equipment from lightning strikes and other electrical surges, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh operating environments.
