Thanks to its PoE capability and sturdy IP40 protection, this switch is an ideal choice for service providers, campuses, and public areas to deploy PoE-powered devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and IP phones in a cost-effective and streamlined manner. It also operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, enabling installation in nearly any environment.

    The switch features four additional mini-GBIC SFP slots, which support dual-speed 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP fiber optic modules. This provides administrators the flexibility to select the appropriate transceiver based on both required transmission distance and speed. Transmission distances can range from 550 meters (using multi-mode fiber) up to 2 km, and extend from 20 to 120 kilometers (using single-mode or WDM fiber). These capabilities make the switch well-suited for enterprise data center and distribution applications.
