To meet the growing demands of Gigabit networks and the Internet of Things (IoT), Benchu Group has introduced the S7500 series—a next-generation Web Smart Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Switch solution. Designed for large-scale deployments in enterprises, telecoms, and campus networks, this Layer 2 Web Smart Switch features 16 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit SFP uplinks. It also delivers a fast, secure, and cost-effective 1G/10G network solution for small and medium-sized businesses.
Advanced Security Management
The S7500 switch provides multiple management interfaces, including console, web, telnet, and SNMP. Its built-in web-based interface offers an intuitive, platform-independent tool for setup and configuration. The switch also supports standard SNMP for integration with compatible network management software. For command-line administration, access is available via telnet or the local console port. Additionally, the S7500 ensures secure remote management through SSH, HTTPS, and SNMPv3, which encrypt session data for protected access.
Silent and Reliable by Design
Utilizing advanced chip technology and energy-efficient design, this fanless switch significantly reduces power consumption. Its silent operation and effective thermal management ensure stable and reliable performance in diverse environments.
Intelligent Traffic Management
The S7500 series Ethernet switch is equipped with comprehensive QoS and advanced traffic management capabilities, designed to optimize business-class data, voice, and video services. Key functionalities include broadcast/multicast/unicast storm control, per-port bandwidth management, and priority classification/remarking based on 802.1p, CoS, and IP DSCP. These features ensure optimal performance for VoIP and video streaming, enabling enterprises to maximize efficiency within their available network resources.
A Scalable and Flexible Solution
This switch includes two additional mini-GBIC SFP slots, compatible with dual-speed 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber optic modules. This gives administrators the flexibility to select SFP transceivers based on both the required transmission speed and distance. Supported distances range from 550 meters up to 2 kilometers using multi-mode fiber, and extend from 20 to 120 kilometers with single-mode or WDM fiber. These features make the switch an excellent fit for enterprise data center and network distribution applications.
An Efficient and Secure Management Interface
The Benchu Group S7500 series managed switch supports both Web and SNMP management interfaces for efficient operation. Its embedded Device Management System (DMS) offers easy setup, configuration, installation, and troubleshooting, making it well-suited for video surveillance, wireless access, and other SMB or enterprise applications. This design provides management simplicity, an improved user experience, and a low total cost of ownership.
IPv6 Networking Solution
Featuring an IPv6/IPv4 dual-stack and intuitive management interfaces, the S7500 series is an ideal choice for deploying IPv6 networks in IP surveillance, VoIP, and wireless service environments. Additionally, it enables small and medium-sized businesses to transition their network infrastructure to IPv6 with no upfront investment required.
Mission-Critical Layer 2 Functions
The S7500 series supports advanced switch management features including dynamic port link aggregation, Q-in-Q VLAN, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), Layer 2/4 QoS, bandwidth control, and IGMP/MLD snooping. It enables high-speed trunking by grouping multiple ports together, supporting up to 9 trunk groups with 2 ports per group, and provides connection fail-over capability.
