    The IES7521-16PGE2GF-AC Industrial PoE switch is built with robust components and a hardened enclosure to ensure reliable performance in electrically noisy and climatically challenging settings, such as factory floors or roadside control cabinets. Housed in a compact, IP40-rated rugged casing, it supports both DIN-rail and wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space. Thanks to its ruggedized PoE design, it offers a cost-effective solution for service providers, campuses, and public areas to easily deploy PoE wireless access points, IP cameras, or IP phones. Capable of operating in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, this switch can be installed in virtually any location.

     

    Delivers Flexible and Future-Proof Expansion

    The switch is equipped with four additional mini-GBIC SFP slots that support dual-speed 1000BASE-SX/LX optical modules. This allows administrators to flexibly select SFP transceivers based on both required transmission distance and speed. Transmission distance can be extended up to 2 km using multi-mode fiber, and from 20 km to 120 km using single-mode or WDM fiber. These features make the switch well-suited for enterprise data center and distribution network applications.

    All RJ45 copper ports on this switch support auto-negotiation across 10/100/1000Mbps for optimal speed detection over Cat 6, Cat 5, or Cat 5e cables. With standard auto-MDI/MDI-X support, the switch automatically identifies the connection type to any Ethernet device, eliminating the need for specialized straight-through or crossover cables.

     

     

    Transient Voltage Protection

    Designed in compliance with the IEC61643-21:2000 standard, this PoE switch provides surge protection of up to 6kV. Its PoE ports are shielded against lightning strikes and electrical surges, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh environmental conditions.
