The two additional built-in mini-GBIC SFP slots support dual-speed 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP fiber modules, allowing the administrator to select the appropriate transceiver based on both required transmission speed and distance. Transmission range can be extended up to 2 km over multi-mode fiber, and from 20 km to 120 km using single-mode or WDM fiber. These features make the switch well-suited for enterprise data center and network distribution applications.
