The IES7511 series Industrial PoE switch is built with robust components and a sturdy housing to deliver reliable performance in electrically noisy and climatically challenging settings, such as factory floors or roadside control cabinets. Housed in a compact, IP40-rated rugged enclosure, it supports both DIN-rail and wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space. Thanks to its ruggedized protection and PoE capability, this switch offers a cost-effective solution for service providers, campuses, and public areas to deploy PoE-powered devices like wireless access points, IP cameras, and IP phones easily and efficiently. It is also designed to operate across a wide temperature range of -40 to 75°C, making it suitable for nearly any location.

Scalability with Built-in Flexibility

This switch includes two additional mini-GBIC SFP slots that support dual-speed 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber optic modules. This allows administrators to select the appropriate SFP transceiver based on both required transmission speed and distance. Using multi-mode fiber, distances can reach up to 2 km, while single-mode or WDM fiber enables transmission from 20 km up to 120 km. These features make the switch well-suited for enterprise data center and distribution applications.

Built-in auto-MDI/MDIX support automatically identifies the connection type to any Ethernet device, eliminating the need for specific straight-through or crossover cables.

The IES7510 Series supports redundant ring technology, providing robust and rapid self-recovery to prevent network interruptions and enhance security. It integrates advanced Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) and a dual power input system into industrial automation networks, improving reliability and uptime in demanding factory conditions. In a basic ring topology, data link recovery can occur in as little as 20ms.
