The IES7310 series Industrial PoE Fiber Converter is built with robust components and a sturdy housing to ensure reliable performance in electrically noisy and climatically challenging settings, such as factory floors or roadside control cabinets. Housed in a compact, IP40-rated rugged case, it supports both DIN-rail and wall mounting, making efficient use of cabinet space. Thanks to its rugged protection and integrated PoE design, it offers a cost-effective solution for service providers, campuses, and public areas to easily deploy wireless access points, IP cameras, or IP phones. Capable of operating in a wide temperature range from -40 to 75°C, it can be installed in virtually any location.

Modular Design for Maximum Flexibility and Scalability

The additional Two mini-GBIC SFP slots built in the switch support dual speed, 155BASE-SX/LX SFP fiber-optic modules, meaning the administrator now can flexibly choose the suitable SFP transceiver according to not only the transmission distance but also the transmission speed required. The distance can be extended from 550 meters to 2km (multi-mode fiber) and to 20/40/60/100/120 kilometers (single-mode fiber or WDM fiber). They are well suited for applications within the enterprise data centers and distributions.

Single-Cable, Zero-Configuration PoE Deployment

All RJ45 ports on this switch support 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation, ensuring optimal speed detection over standard Cat 6, 5, or 5e cables. Built-in auto-MDI/MDI-X functionality automatically detects the connection type to any Ethernet device, eliminating the need for crossover cables.

High-Immunity Surge Protection

This Industrial PoE Fiber Converter complies with the IEC61643-21:2000 standard, providing 6KV surge protection on its PoE ports. This safeguards the connected PoE switch from lightning strikes and electrical surges, ensuring reliable operation even in demanding environmental conditions.
