  • Hassle-Free Deployment and Operation

The S7500 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch supports comprehensive and secure network management through multiple protocols and interfaces. It offers flexible device administration via SNMP v1/v2/v3 and can be configured through both a Command Line Interface (CLI) and a Web-based Network Management System (NMS). Management security is enhanced with support for SSH2.0 and other encryption standards. Additionally, the switch implements the LLDP protocol to simplify network discovery and topology management.

    Carrier-Class Layer 3 Performance

The S7500 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch offers programmable, advanced management features including dynamic port link aggregation, Q-in-Q VLAN, MSTP, Layer 2/4 QoS, bandwidth control, and IGMP/MLD snooping. It also supports high-speed trunking by combining multiple ports into logical groups, with a capacity for up to 9 trunk groups of 2 ports each, and includes connection fail-over for enhanced reliability.

    Powerful Routing for Your Network

The S7500 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch supports a comprehensive suite of IP routing protocols, including RIPv1/v2, RIPng, and OSPFv2/v3. Its routing interface enables per-VLAN routing for granular traffic control and offers route redistribution to ensure flexible and efficient network integration.

    Modular Design for Flexible Connectivity

The S7500-24G24FC-4TF-L3M Managed Switch delivers flexible connectivity with four 10G SFP+ uplinks and a selection of gigabit ports—available in 24 or 48 Base-T and Base-X configurations. It is well-suited to serve as an access or aggregation switch in campus networks, as well as an access layer switch within data center environments.

    High Availability with ERPS Technology

In addition to supporting STP, RSTP, and MSTP, the S7500 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch features advanced Ethernet reliability technologies like Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS, or ITU-T G.8032). This modern ring protocol builds on standard Ethernet MAC and bridging, leveraging established OAM functions and a Ring Automatic Protection Switching (R-APS) mechanism to deliver sub-50ms protection switching. ERPS accommodates diverse services and flexible network designs, helping customers reduce both operational and capital expenditures.

Unified Policy Engine for QoS and Security

The S7500 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch integrates multiple security mechanisms to protect against network threats. It utilizes strict ARP learning to prevent ARP table exhaustion from spoofing attacks, and IP Source Guard to block DoS attacks stemming from MAC or IP address spoofing. Furthermore, the switch employs DHCP snooping, which creates secure binding records based on user interface, MAC, IP address, lease time, and VLAN ID. This feature filters out non-matching packets—including ARP and IP spoofing traffic—to thwart man-in-the-middle attacks on campus networks. Additionally, by designating the DHCP server interface as trusted, the system is safeguarded against rogue DHCP server attacks.

    IPv6 Networking Solution

The S7500 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch, featuring an IPv6/IPv4 dual-stack and user-friendly management interfaces, provides an ideal solution for deploying IPv6 networks in IP surveillance, VoIP, and wireless service environments. Furthermore, it enables small and medium-sized businesses to transition their network infrastructure to the IPv6 standard at no additional cost.

    Integrated Surge Protection

The S7500 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch is designed for resilience, conforming to the IEC 61643-21:2000 standard. Its PoE ports offer 6KV surge protection, shielding the switch from lightning strikes and power surges to ensure dependable operation even in harsh electrical environments.
