PD Online Status Check

The SP5220-24PGE2GF 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch integrates Power over Ethernet technology with automated PD monitoring and real-time PoE status tracking.

Its PD Alive Check feature operates in Standard, VLAN, and Extend modes, ensuring continuous device detection. Once a PoE port powers on, the switch monitors data activity. If no transmission is detected beyond a set timeout period, the port automatically cycles power—restarting the PD to restore connectivity.

This self-recovery mechanism improves network reliability by resolving unresponsive devices without manual intervention, significantly reducing admin workload while maintaining uninterrupted surveillance operations.

Built-in Surge Safeguard
Engineered for resilience, this PoE switch meets IEC 61643-21:2000 standards with robust 6KV surge protection. Its hardened PoE ports effectively shield against lightning strikes and electrical surges, ensuring uninterrupted operation in challenging environmental conditions.

Smart Expansion Assistant
The SP5220-24PGE2GF features two built-in mini-GBIC slots compatible with 1.25GBASE-SX/LX SFP fiber transceivers, enabling high-speed uplinks to backbone switches and remote monitoring centers. With multi-mode fiber, the range reaches 550 meters, while single-mode or WDM fiber extends connectivity from 10 km up to 120 km. This flexibility makes it ideal for enterprise data centers and distributed network deployments.
